We have had a fun packed week winding down for our Christmas break. We started with our toddler group nativity where the boys all joined in to tell the nativity story. They then had a great surprise when Father Christmas arrived to give them all a present!
We made gifts and cards for mums and dads with the children loving getting their hands dirty to make our season calendars as well as doing lots of glueing and sticking to create a variety of cards. We have used our sense to explore out Christmas sensory tray of rice, cinnamon and nutmeg together with baubles and beads.
We have had a little Christmas party with out childminding buddies and finished up with a day at Saltram House where the children had a lovely time admiring the fantastic Christmas decorations in the house and went on a hunt in the garden to find the numbers and symbols of the 12 days of Christmas.
We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and look forward to seeing each other again in 2016!
